Just for the health of it!


Founded in 2007, the Gladys M. Rice/E. Malkia Brantuo Health and Fitness Center is named in honor of these two missionaries of Fellowship Chapel, who assisted in opening and maintainig the Fellowship Chapel Health Clinic in Ghana, West Africa when we established it in 1996.


Gladys and Malkia (both deceased) gave selflessly of their time, tithes and taltents to the least of these.  The GMR/EMB Health Center provides health screenings, forums and seminars; provides various fitness classes, personal training, health snacks and more.

Classes and Schedules

Aerobics & Step Aerobics Classes 6 p.m.


Monday Aerobics- Sonora Harden

Wednesday Step Aerobics- Anita Robinson


Each instructor moves to their own beat providing a variety of high and low-impact cardio movements and strength & toning with weights. 

Some instructors add step, obstacle course and other cardio training techniques.

Either way you will get a great work out!

Monday 7:15-8:30 pm

Gentle & RESTorative Yoga

8-week Series (Apr 10-June 5)

Perfect for beginners or anyone experiencing chronic stress and fatigue. This series offers strategies for easing mental and physical tension.


Saturday 9:30-10:45 am

On-going beginner, to intermediate, level Hatha yoga class. Modifications are offered for chair and other necessary support.


*Special Workshops are offered throughout the year as well.
